Frequently Asked Questions?

What types of commercial projects do you specialise in?

We deliver a wide range of commercial building solutions including office fit-outs, retail spaces, medical centres, childcare centres, warehouses, and refurbishments. All works are completed in line with the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards (AS) to ensure compliance and safety.

Yes. We offer end-to-end design and construct solutions including concept planning, approvals, detailed construction, and final certification. Our designs and builds comply with NCC Volume One (Building Code of Australia – Class 2–9 buildings).

Approvals vary depending on the project and may include a Development Application (DA) through council or a Complying Development Certificate (CDC) via a private certifier. All approvals are assessed against the NCC, NSW Building Regulations, and relevant Australian Standards such as AS 1428.1 for accessibility. We manage the process on your behalf.

Timelines depend on size and complexity. For example:
• Office fit-outs: typically 4–12 weeks.
• Childcare centres/warehouses: usually 12–18 months, depending on the project size.
We provide a detailed construction program and ensure compliance with Safe Work Australia guidelines for site safety.

Yes. We can schedule works after hours or on weekends where required. All works follow NSW Work Health & Safety (WHS) regulations to minimise risks while ensuring your operations continue smoothly.

All commercial projects must comply with AS 1428.1 – Design for Access and Mobility and the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). We ensure accessibility is incorporated into every design and construction stage, covering ramps, door widths, sanitary facilities, and signage.

We offer both options depending on client preference:
• Fixed-price contracts – agreed lump sum, with variations managed transparently.
• Cost-plus contracts – open-book approach with agreed margins.
All contracts are prepared in accordance with NSW Fair Trading requirements.

We strictly adhere to the NSW WHS Act 2011, SafeWork NSW codes of practice, and site-specific safety management plans. Every project includes inductions, risk assessments, and regular safety audits.

All works are covered by:
• Defects Liability Period (usually 12 months) as per contract.
• Structural warranties under the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW) where applicable.
• Manufacturer warranties on fixtures and materials.
